They do basically two styles of toys, so you aren't getting 3 3/4" ARAH figures. Hasbro likely wouldn't want that either. They will almost surely do some of their simple POA style, and maybe a larger scale ultimate toy and other merch

An Ultimates line definitely would be interesting to see, given how frustrating Classified has been with its distribution problems. I do have several of the MOTU line, and those are very nice, well done, definitive figures.
As for ReAction, I'd have no interest unless they're making characters that had not been produced before...but even then, probably not. I don't understand the appeal of making a retro style 5POA figure in the 80's style when the original 80s figures were already better. Don't get me wrong, there are some ReAction I do like...So far, I've collected their Universal Monsters, TOS Star Trek, and the xenomorph from Alien. I love how the ReAction Alien can stand right in among my vintage Kenner Star Wars figures and blend right in (I still want to make a Mos Eisley Cantina diorama one day and sneak him in there). I also like having a set of the original series Star Trek figures to complement the Kenner Star Wars figures. But neither of these ever had good 3.75" figures back in the 80s (the Mego & Ertl Star Trek figures that did come out were based on the first and third movies rather than the original 60s TV show). The Kenner Alien never got produced in the 3.75" size. The Universal Monsters are really good alternatives to the Remco originals. But I still don't get why I'd want a ReAction 5 POA pseudo-retro version of a figure that my original 80s Joes are already superior to. |

I would welcome a ultimates line that is ARAH Card Art or Sunbow themed. I think Super7 is far enough along now that they are no longer using the old motuc buck for any new figures. The Silverhawks stuff they just put up for preorder features all new, unique sculpts. If they approach ARAH the same way for Ultimates I’m in. It won’t stop me from collecting classified either.

I already pre-ordered all the Silverhawks...

Teaser on Super 7 social media seems to indicate that they are doing all of the above. It seems pretty clear the blacked out words say REACTION and Ultimates. Also last reveal is clearly Cyborg which is a line they already have released figures in so that's obvious.
But looks like Super 7 is going ALL IN on GI Joe |

But isn't the Super7 stuff 7" Scale? Wouldn't that mean that it not only competes with Classified in a way but at the same time presents itself as an alternative to the whole Classified line?

Oh I bet it’s those reaction figures so you can have Marty McFly battle a Cobra Trooper.

Personally, they really ought to apply the Ultimate formula to the ReAction scale. I know that won't happen, but it's really the only way I'd personally be on board- and I guarantee I'd drop $20-25 per figure, and do so happily. I mean, it's not as though Hasbro's doing anything with that scale to speak of.
