The look and feel of the marketing seems spot-on. I'm liking it. Henry Golding seems like a great guy and makes for a very interesting leading man - in my opinion. Much better than The Rock, or Dennis Quaid.
Hoping the trailer is great. This might not be 'my' Snake Eyes... but then again, Tom Holland was not 'my' Spider Man - and he is awesome. |

I’m in. 100%. You got my support Golding.
I’m all For reimagined characters as long as they do them justice.

And that's where I'm willing to give them the benefit of a doubt. If they do Snake Eyes? Storm Shadow and others justice and make a kick ass movie, then they have my support.

Honestly, it looks like hot garbage. I understand that Golding & Koji (both top notch actors in my book) are on the rise and per Hollywood marketing standards you need the face and what not but it’s still a shame. V for Vendetta nailed it 15+ years ago. The GI Joe cinematic franchise to this point has been a disaster. Terribly written. To the point, it’s why the first five minutes of Bumblebee works and is the best part of the Bayverse. Spot on, not trying to reinvent the wheel

This is not a high bar.
I couldn't care less what the movie does. Make Snake Eyes a My Little Pony who fights against Bumblebee and legions of Power Rangers. It doesn't matter one whit. All that matters is that the movie creates more money for making Classified figures. Nothing they do is going to ever replace ARAH/Sunbow for me, so let them make they want. Who cares?

I'm reaching that point. I've been so diehard ARAH for many years. Now I've accepted the fact that we are not getting a ARAH accurate movie. So do whatever with the movie. Yes, I'll have my gripes but if it makes money and brings in more ARAH inspired 4 inch figures then I'm a happy camper.

I'd like to think it's a tribute to the guy who was partially responsible for creating him...or you can be backwards thinking about the whole thing, or whatever helps you sleep at night. Don't let the wokies bite.
