This is clearly Hasbro's attempt at getting the brand in kids hands. I will honestly just be happy to actually see these on the shelves. Then again just about EVERYONE shit all over Classified before they even hit retail and look at how many of us have bitched about getting them in hand.

Still hoping for something in 4in maybe under the retro line for Walmart. If we don't get it, I'll just spend it elsewhere.

I thought by Hasbro marketing inside Fortnite that was Hasbros attempt to introduce GIJoe to the kids?

Today is a fractured media world. There is NO one venue to guarantee exposure. That's why there's comic books, the Fortnite crossover (in game AND comic), a movie, new toy line (geared to both younger/new audiences AND existing/lapsed collectors), retailer exclusives, and a host of other licensing deals.

To get the brand out there and back into the public mindshare beyond position of a legacy brand.

It's not that people can't have an opinion, it's that a significant sentiment was that these suck BECAUSE they are kids toys. Because they aren't super articulated, super detailed Classified figures, they aren't worth being produced. In some respects, I think some even perceive the existence of these products as somehow "taking resources away" from stuff they believe should be made instead.

I think a lot of us that have been through this in both GI Joe and other brands are tired of the mentality of "it's not for me, therefore, it sucks and shouldn't exist". If someone says these suck because of "insert reason", fine, but I'm mostly seeing the complaints boil down to the fact these aren't Classified figures.

I don't think they suck I'm just disappointed they are not what I hoped for. Ill probably buy a few honestly cause that Storm Shadow, Night Creeper, and Red Ninja would be awesome if it was made for one of the more articulated lines. Maybe we will see more. I don't think its wrong if people think they suck I can scroll past that. I see more people posting and complaining about those saying that they suck then anything.
