His race/gender literally doesn't matter. This is not the same GI Joe, and again changing his race has zero impact to what the story could tell. But we already know its a totally new origin so again what does it matter?

Stop being a baby, no one even knew what Snake Eyes looked like for years, none of his background mattered one bit because his background was "he went to NAM and got injured, not hes all black wearing silent ninja commando. Being white, being blonde, none of that mattered one bit. You could go back and make SE black in the old comics, and it changes absolutely nothing. You get to see SE actually for about a page worth of comic panels in an entire 40+ years.

And no one gave a crap when Snake Eyes was played by a dark haired Scotsman either. Geez I wonder why.

The only real change that has any validity for a complaint really is that they dropped the whole soldier aspect and backstory, but really you all know this movie is not meant for you all. Hasbro knows they will never make a successful GI Joe movie depending on a bunch of 40-50+ year old American men which is ever decreasing, they need to expand to new minds, new regions, new generations. GI Joe of the 80s is dead

I assume this has already been addressed previously (prior to my joining), but is Paramount absolutely 100% "locked in" to calling the movie "G.I. Joe: Ever Vigilant"?

Because, to be perfectly honest, that name really sucks.

Many movies are put into development under temp titles. They'll probably change this one. However, be prepared for the possibility that it could sound even worse.
