What do the design team say in the interviews? I am very interested in hearing what they say.

Singles wave 2 sounds great.

I wont go word for word but highlights include:

There were only going to be 10 figures in 2 5-packs but when 'Bro saw Mr. Stalls 12 finished figures, they decided to do single packs too. That is the reason wave 1 is basically repaints

Wave 2 will have alot of new sculpts

An overview of the Joe 5-pack and why the figures that are in it are in it instead of Hawk; etc.

John Warden(the other 25th designer) makes comments on Flint, Duke, CC, and the Trooper

Flint-was going to be an exact color match but looked to cartoony

Duke-expect a bakpack with the next release of this figure

Cobra Commander-has a removeable helmet with a small array of charges on the back of the head

Cobra Trooper-wasnt going to have a removeable knife but was changed at the last minute. Expect a re-release of the Officer with a different gun, maybe


Some nice turn-a-rounds for Duke, CC, and the trooper, plus an early turn-a-around of Flint and one of the pics they send to the factory telling what needs to be changed

Wow, something tells me the anniversary celebration was going to be short, but suddenly expanded tenfold.

I hope we inevitably get Hawk. Hawk is needed. I wonder who the 2 other finished figures were aside from the 1st 10?

Well when I spoke with Dwight last year at the con, he said that it was only him working on a little something for 3/3/4 stuff. I am glad that HASBRO gave the go ahead to produce more characters, I cannot wait to see what the other single figures look like.
