I much prefer the blue on the original. I associate that colour with Scarlett more than the black on the new one. I prefer the hair colour on the new one but I agree that the face makes her look old. I had intended to get the new one just to switch heads, but now I'm not so sure.

I actually prefer the new one overall. Neither are a dead on homage to the original, but the new one blends better with the rest of the line tonally.

And I also do prefer the new head, she doesn't look like a pre teen special ops commander who's just been electrocuted anymore.

I've got a wave one set on pre-order from BBTS, so now I really am wondering if the Duke, Scarlett, and Roadblock will be in the updated colors. Both Scarletts look fine to me.

Not that the line is warming pegs like something awful, but if wave one is still shipping out, there's going to be quite a few Roadblocks and Scarletts on the shelf when the wave three repacks hit.

As for the uniform, I appreciate the attempt to tone the original down, but the color choices they went with are kinda drab. There have been really good repaints done by fans that tone the first figure down while evoking the original design more than this one did.

Color scheme still looks messy. So between the two, I'd go for the classic color scheme and the new head

The black is a major improvement over the blue, imo. And I do much prefer her new hair/makeup. However, Hasbro has still failed to address my primary issue: that truly horrid yellow.

So while I remain skeptical of Scarlett's sculpt overall, I am a bit curious how she'd look with black pants and all the yellow parts red. (Plus, minus that "turtle shell" thing.)

The new one is Spidey-era Kirsten Dunst. To the point where Hasbro may be thinking that ML customizers might buy her for that reason alone (has there been an ML Dunst MJ?)
