I ordered the redeco of Duke and Scarlett and about fell out of my chair when I received a same day shipping notice from BBTS. That literally has never happened to me before. Maybe improvements are afoot in their anticipated shipping speed? They used to be one of the slowest, as items would sit in "warehouse" and "preparing shipment" for sometimes days at a time, but this was a very welcome shock.

I'd love to believe that Hasbro actually cares and that things will change but I doubt they will, at least in regard to Target exclusives. Target doesn't care and Hasbro can't force them to request more stock. So while the Hasbro rep claims they are "working on it", what does that even mean? They can say that none of the Cobra Island figures are "discontinued" but what difference does it make if they aren't actually in stores? I've never seen a single CI figure on a peg/shelf. Ever. I did get lucky two times where a store clerk got me some and one time another shopper handed me a Viper and said I could buy it but I've never just walked into a Target and saw figures in the toy aisle, and I go to many Targets many times each week like a middleclass mom on a mission.

I saw this last night. While I agree most CS phone people say think to appease you and get you off the phone, I do like his optimism if for nothing else than just someone trying to put good vibes out there.

I know it does help if you can’t find a figure, I just like some kind of optimism.

Same here, and I agree. I didn't dance up And down and shout "we're saved!!!" or anything, but it was nice just to see a bit of positivity in regards to this mess.

And who knows? Maybe he's right. I mean, Hasbro is in the business of prying our hard earned dollars from our wallets, they're most definitely aware that third parties are making more than they are on these, and they've never really been forthcoming with details regarding what's in the pipeline until they're ready to do so. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I believe Abbey Road Joe was indeed told that by a Hasbro PR pimp. He says the CSR told him "These are not discontinued by us". Probably true. But I saw, with my own eyes, a Target handheld that specified the CI Exclusives were "No Longer Available". Hasbro discontinuing them and Target discontinuing them for sale are two completely different things.

The interesting part of Joe's video is that I was told almost the exact same thing by a Hasbro CSR when I was bitching about a Premium Membership "not being worth the money because you ship figures dead last". Mariana told me,"We have heard what the fans have asked for and we have big plans to be announced soon. We are very excited about the revamped Premium Membership." She then rolls into,"These figures aren't going away. Don't worry. We've got you." I'm not sure how these exclusives tie into a Premium Membership but it's a telling statement.

So there is a reason to be optimistic...but it's a hard sell.

I'm glad to hear there will be changes coming to the premium membership because I haven't been happy with it either. I get early "back in stock" notices for things I don't want and the things I do want are never in stock. Free shipping on items I can't order doesn't do me any good. So far, the only time I feel like I've benefited from my premium account is when I got the Snake Supreme Cobra Commander. It gave me peace of mind to be able to pre-order it without worrying about the available inventory.
