Duke is the kick in the freaking balls! Everyone and their uncle has made the perfect Duke as a custom for mustache guy to copy and he freaking gives us o face shit. (But look at the detail in the boots ��)

Lady Jaye is okay. The head will go on the 50th and the rest into the fodder pin to be covered with marauder bits.

Freaking everyone was looking forward to finally having an ultimate duke and they f it up!

The only way I could have been really unhappy is if the "reveal" was that they were canceling Retro entirely due to lack of interest and/or poor response.

Nope. Only thing I'm happy wiith is Lady Jayes new paint apps on her face. I know a guy who is just getting back into Joe's and likes them all. He is obliveouse to the possibility of how good Duke good be. Also he isn't aware of the Ret CC. Ignorance is bliss. In the end I will buy one Duke and One CC just to have on card. I did buy 4 LJ's for the head and customs.

I'm ambivalent. My happiness doesn't depend on toys, but they can make me happy, so while this wave didn't make me happy in and of itself, it also didn't cause me to despair or rage. I did enjoy the Hasbro presentation thing though, and not just in an ironic, "this is fucking goofy!" sort of way. I actually dug the anticipation of the reveals.

I'm OK with Lady Jaye, CC is fine, but the Duke is a great disappointment. With the JUMP cross straps, it does not match the card art. The head was not well received the first time it came out. And the base figure is the epitome of the 25th's early articulation blunders. I WILL say, the colors are good, and at least they used the "fixed" arms. But this figure will not fit well in the ONE Joe vehicle released.

CC looks like a copy of the lesser SDCC Missile command set when it should have been the Ultimate build. Fail,

Lady Jaye is what I would expect. The best build and she seems to have improved paint apps for the face. Ok.

Duke. What the fuck were they thinking? That figure was shit in the 25th run. A good modern Duke is what we really all wanted. Now Hasbro will just chalk that failure up to, “See the fans are sick of Duke.” No, we are sick of terrible Dukes.

Add that all up to the mess that Walmart’s preorder system is and I just don’t want to bother any more.
