I agree and disagree. I absolutely could do a better job than Mustache with his budget. I don’t need the financial details to tell you that between offering O-Face 2007 Duke or ZERO Duke, I would choose Zero Duke.

Where I agree is this: The idea that I could choose the Joe position within Hasbro and NEVER get moved to another line in my career is to live in a dream world. And were that too happen, I wouldn’t know Pony X to Pony Y, Star Wars V to Stars Wars Z. Without a lot of research and time, I could see re-releasing the O-Face Duke of the SW/MLP/“place toy brand” here.

Yep. I'm no fan of corporations in general and all for people expressing their disdain for something they don't like, but ignorant blanket assertions stemming from butt-hurt and personal attacks aren't good for anyone. Not only do they make us look like immature assholes, they literally send the message our opinions shouldn't be taken seriously. They're counterproductive. Especially when people then buy the stuff they don't like anyway.

I would have at least been more happy with cleavage LJ because that torso works better on customs(fits male webgear better)

This. If O Face Duke is all they got then don’t do it. Wal Mart doesn’t care if they have a Duke or not. Just because is it is the best they can do doesn’t mean they should do it. None of us know if the Flint mold is still viable, but if it is not that’s still on Hasbro. They just used it a few years ago - for the first time.

I am NOT buying Duke, CC, nor Baroness (don’t need the latter two as presented).

I am on the fence with Lady Jaye. I wanted the new face paint technology, but if her hair is really black, matching her hat, forget it.

I really like Scarlett and the HISS Driver, bought RB for custom parts (new head sculpt) and kind of want Crankcase for the same reason...and like Destro’s added paint apps. I’m also a diseased SE/SS completionist, so I bought the serviceable SE/SS figures.

Well, for me, I've never seen any retro figures so I'm kinda glad I don't like them. Honestly, I'd buy them if I see them just cause I'm addicted to Joes but also not feeling overly sad about not finding them. The only one I actually really wanted was the AWE Striker and that was the only thing I ever saw up here in Canada.

Hey, if I want it, I get it. I preordered what I wanted before they sold out, so as long as Walmart does their part (we’ll see), I’m fine. So far, Scarlett is all I’m waiting for to come through.

My on the fence figures are just that. If I see them in the store, I may pick them up. May.

Bottom line: I’m just glad Joe is seemingly the new, hot toy again. I hope that’s because everyone is buying them, and not just because very few were made.

BUT....they are still constrained by the resources allowed to them by management. They are still at the mercy of marketing people who insist on multi lingual cards (despite this line likely NEVER to see release in international markets). And more than anything else...they are at the mercy of a shoe-string budget and limited time frame for which to develop products like this.

Actually, the wave 1 vehicles were released here in Brazil last month or so and the figures are coming this month, at least supposedly.

Off topic, Classified figures were also released here, including Baroness with COIL (this one, pretty plentiful). We don't have Target stores here, it simply came as a regular release.
