Retro has been a very weird ride so far. The Snake Eyes with the wrong head (using the mold that most recently came with the right version). No use of anything that wasn't in the 50th and then the use of the wrong 50th versions (Duke). I'm sort of glad they rolled out a terrible Duke. I was regretting almost all of my retro purchases other than Scarlett to get the head for Resolute bodies. Now I can just write the whole thing off.

They don't have to spend alot on this they have a parts catalog going back to 2007 to work from. Frankenjoe the hell out of it to make the card art match the product. I don't expect them to make new figures but they could atleast put a little effort into it.

The granite jaw/cleft chin is quite similar, actually. Otherwise, not so much. Personally, I get more of a "Jersey Shore" crossed with "Keeping Up With the Cuomos" kinda vibe.
Either way, the figure's face looks fine ... just not for Flint. If this was Falcon, there'd be no issue. In fact, it would be an improvement. Seeing as the original Falcon's face has soft, almost "Fisher-Price"-ish features. Oh, and I don't care what anyone says, "Shrek 2" was even better than the original. (They really should have stopped there, though.)

Just curious, when are they scheduled to do another one of these scripted talks?

I think the W3 Retro figures were supposed to ship in March, which means they will probably be showing up sparingly on the shelves in February. I believe they want to announce the next wave of Retro figures before it's spoiled by the cross sell pics on the back. Plus they already leaked the art for Classified Major Bludd. So I'm guessing at the end of this month.
