Super 7 makes excellent Masters of the Universe and Thundercats action figures. I'm not an apologist for them other than I buy their products and am a very happy customer.

That said, I don't see Super7 stepping in to do anything other than super niche licenses Joe stuff. Certainly not taking over action figure production or anything nutty like that. 5 POA maybe or statues, but whatever. If you want their stuff then buy it. If not there's no reason to throw shade.

There's every reason throw shade at Super7, at every opportunity. But this isn't the place for detailed rants.

Let's just say that not everyone thinks their MOTU figures are excellent (Teela, Hawke, plastic quality, etc., etc.).

I don't think I would collect any of these side companies if they picked up GI Joe. I would rather watch Hasbro fail and learn from their mistakes and try again. Right now they have a solid run of characters to pull from but production and marketing are very poor. If they took some pointers from their Marvel or Starwars team they could probably get more interest.

Yeah Duke is the only one I'm even interested in getting and that's only if they even make him right. the parts are there now to make a really great duke but I really don't have much faith in Hasbro looking at what they've done with this retro line so far.

C.C. SHOULD use the same mold as the ultimate retaliation figure, but they didn't do that for us with storm shadow like they should have so who knows what type of CC we will get. And I guarantee that Lady Jaye will be the exact same as the 50th version, which most of us already have so nothing new or exciting there.

CC should use the Ret. Ult. CC build with the hooded head, painted in V2 colors. They will probably screw that up though.
