40th anniversary 2022 - Is this for real?

A friend sent me these a couple of minutes ago.

He thinks they are fake.

Does anyone have info on them?

No, it's not real. A guy in the Retro and Classified threads has been making these in Photoshop and posting them with zero explanation, confusing some people. I liked them at first, but it's kinda becoming spammy at this point.

He's also been spamming Reddit with them, originally it was just the 6" figures on "classic" cards.

He's also been sharing them on Facebook. They're fun and all, but constantly posting them with no explanation is indeed spammy at this point.

Sorry for the back to back replies CIAD but I was about to say the same thing when I saw your post. It is very spammy. Putting them in the Retro thread is doubly disingenuous. If someone wanted to do something like that maybe start a new thread.
