I was in Target this morning and ran across a new series of Funko Mystery Minis centered on Retro Toys, and among the treasured characters from our youth it features four GI Joe characters- Cobra Commander, Snake Eyes, Shipwreck, and Leatherneck.

The first three are great choices, but Leatherneck? No offence as he's a fine character, but he's not the first one most people think of when it comes to GI Joe. Scarlett or Stalker would have been a better choice, IMO. But nonetheless, it's nice that GI Joe gets more slots in this wave than any of the other properties featured.

Anyway, just thought I'd give you guys a heads-up about it in case there are any Funko/Joe collectors out there. I'm totally grabbing that Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes.

Oddly enough Leatherneck is one of them I think of when I think I GI Joe. That probably has more to do with my figures as a kid though...
