On the one hand, awesome. Glad it's being released. But on the other hand I don't have a record player, that that thing got chucked in the trash before the 80's ended. Still ordered it though.

I am pretty excited about this, but I am also very, very disappointed. They are pressing a record of G.I. Joe music and, somehow, Cold Slither isn't on it? Who dropped the ball on that? Can I just get a Cold Slither 7" single or something at least?

Great step but why in the world is this and the Transformers album not being put on CD?

Also, you do not have to order this from Amazon. Best Buy has it, Walmart has it and if you Google for gi joe vinyl, a whole array of other stores comes up.

The TF one was limited and not complete either, and still never got to CD or digital format.

I grabbed that one when the TF one dropped. Worked as a player, and the USB function - works.

RE: missing tracks - I think they have issues with songs that were in other Sunbow shows, not owned by Hasbro. Like Spider-Man etc.

Plus rights issues with artists other than Walsh and Douglas.

Plus tracks needed to be remastered for modern use. And at this point, both Walsh and Douglas have passed away.

I don't 100% know if any or all of those are keeping things from release, but they are potential factors I've heard rumbles about.

Is this being made by the same company that did the TF 80s music album? If so there will likely be a lot of variants.

This and the TF one need to be released as digital audio as well, not just vinyl.
