Hopefully if they go up for preorder on Pulse, they will show up on Amazon and others too. Pulse still hasn't shipped any wave 2 stuff, despite it being everywhere.

Ah ok. That makes a lot of sense. I guess I'm just stuck on the vintage decor. 7 was an impressionable age for me. I like my Cobra Troops with harnesses and evil looking daggers occupying old abandoned castles or Stepford type cul de sac towns. I also really liked the Viper and Alley Viper later on, but this feels like a homogenized COBRA trooper compiled from parts of all of the above. But the figure seems to be selling very very well so I guess I'm just stuck in my own childhood.

Wow, glad I didn't wait. I know the Byrne X Men era is very popular for our generation but wasn't sure what percent of the collecting community that was. No one but me seemed overly interested in the set from online posts. Now we need some Footmen. I'd love a set of of DPS Macon, Cole and Reese and Footman, pre Reavers.

I might prefer a cleaner look to the Classified Trooper (the knife is certainly oddly placed and a little too prominent), but the figure is awesome in hand. It's one of my favorite 6" action figures ever. I think it's a very good update to the PoC Trooper (one of my favorite 4" figures) and whatever parts it borrows from the upcoming (but long-rumored) Alley Viper don't bother me.

And even then, I wish they had given her a long-hair alternate head to more closely match most of her appearances as the White Queen.

I ended up cancelling all of mine except Regal CC. Amazon has already shipped me two different batches of Cobra Commander and Pulse hasn't had them in stock yet.

Same here. It's idiotic that HP gets their own figures weeks after other retailers.
