Am I the only one who is too afraid to look at the ebay page right now? With my luck, I'd accidentally click on 'bid now' and end up blowing my son's entire college fund. |

We're very well aware of all the fake bids. Honestly, didn't expect this thing to get this blown out of proportion. We knew what we found when we found it, so we bought two like we usually do. One for eBay, one for our personal collection. We're collectors. Yes, we flip things for a small profit on eBay, but we don't like to gauge prices. We TRY to keep it fair, and make a few dollars at the same time. Check out our history, if you don't believe us. We threw it up there for a penny, just to see where it would go. I say we, because we are a husband and wife team. Been collecting action figures and comics for over 21 years together. We honestly didn't know there were going to be so many angry collectors trying to sabotage a really cool find and share. I was trying to stay on top of bidding and delete the ones that were obviously new fake accounts, but it's just out of hand. It's cool though. We're seasoned eBay sellers and we're having a whole lot of fun watching the toy collecting community break the internet over our awesome find! Once the listing hit $1,000 we knew people were messing with us and we're not getting paid. But it's generated hella traffic for our eBay store, social media and website!
