What's hard to get is the Cobra Island stuff, which is what this thread is specifically about.

I definitely had locals try to help me get what I needed and I helped out too but when none of us saw any of that stuff then it wasn't exactly easy to get.

In some locations, all those tools have been utilized by several of us to no avail. Because of that, some have quit, some have resorted to online.

You seem to be in a good spot to get your fill. Distribution is not the same with all locations.

True, but with so many others not able to find, or only finding one even trading has been difficult for some. Not impossible, just difficult. People are slowly getting what they want. It's taking awhile for everyone to get what they are looking for but the point is the tools you mentioned are being used.

I'm big into Transformers. I've done many trades and sales. I know how toys work. But all this assumes that the figures are readily available, and that I could conceivably walk into a Target tomorrow and pick up a Viper or two and trade them for things I want.

But I can't do that because this stuff isn't available. As I said before, I'm lucky in that my local group, only me and another guy ever found Vipers, and the other guy couldn't even buy them. I bought a few that day and sold him one at cost, kept some for myself, and gave another one free of charge to a long time, close friend of mine. After that, I never found any more. So it isn't even like I could've traded any for something else as I just barely had enough for myself.

Yes people do come up with a lot of excuses but are you helping them out with their shortcomings? Are you providing any online links that these people can go to and place orders at good prices? There are also other tankers that not only provided solutions to the frustrations of others but they would offer giveaways, they would help other tankers by picking the figures up in the stores when they see them. I don't know if you've done these things for others. If you have good for you. If you haven't then put your money where your mouth is, if you have access to the ones people are looking for hook em up.
