If I were into Transformers, I'd be in hog heaven in my area. They're on every shelf at every store, 3-4 deep, for days at a time. I saw Thrust at 4 different Targets in my area, for like, 2 weeks before they sold. But Joes? NOPE. Those pegs have been empty since December. |

THIS. Exactly this. It's not like people are lying about them being hard to find, or that they're not trying. We're glad, really we are, that it was so "easy" for you. But maybe, just maybe it was luck? Don't confuse the two. It's like saying it was "easy" for you to win the mega millions because all you had to do was buy a ticket with the right numbers on it.

Only reason I stated they were “easy” because I clicked and bought. Not wasted days going to stores I new wouldn’t have any. Then coming here posting about not having any . Then going to a store again that still doesn’t have any. Then complain about that store still not having any.
That’s insanity in the truest sense. |

No, actually it is *hope* that the store with exclusive rights to the figures actually stocks them–or restocks them in some cases. Keep in mind that not everyone has the means or the desire to pay 3-5x the retail price for figures that are supposed to be found in retail stores at the present time. That's not really a measure of "sanity".

That’s insanity in the truest sense. Congrats juggling your online psychiatric practice with trolling people who are all supposed to be part of a community. ....and by the way, it's spelled "KNEW." |

If the former, I wish it were so simple. In my case, I "clicked and bought" 3 Vipers and only received one of them from Target. That's not a matter of "easy" or "hard," and conflates "clicking and buying" with "receiving" (arguably the most important part of the transaction, I think we can all agree). If not Target, then it's fine to say as much - but adds an element of insincerity and incongruity into the argument. It's very easy to get these figures on eBay (if you're willing to pay the price). But that doesn't appear to be what you're suggesting, I hope. It's also clear that we're headed into the online discourse stage of "you all complain too much about the difficulty of getting this line," which is going to quickly morph into 3 days and 7 pages of complaining about whether or not we complain too much. Which - well, too meta and not something I'm interested in debating. I have my experiences and opinions, and if they're not shared by others, I feel no need to defend them or critique yours. Such is the nature of opinions, yes? Leaving well enough alone, I'll be back on this thread after this tedious self-defeating discursive shift has ended.

For all of you that found them so easily... I'm sure you would be willing to help out those of us less fortunate - right? Anyone willing to sell me a Cobra Trooper at retail plus shipping?

The availability heuristic is a heck of a drug.
Who knows what distribution was like in different parts of the US? We've seen folks who saw figures right on schedule, some who checked popfindr and it took a week or two for any to show up within 100 miles. Add population density to that and, at a bare minimum, distribution and demand vary wildly by location. If you're in a rural area, you likely stand a better chance of finding them than people in cities. The implication - or the overt statement - that "I found them easily, therefore you should have too" - is so incurious on the surface. Why is it so challenging to believe that it was difficult to find these in some areas? Fan/scalper density + desire for the figs + uneven distribution equals some folks able to buy by the case and others who never saw them in the store. |

Soooooo you're just here to crap on people. I clicked. I bought. That part was "easy." And then my order wasn't fulfilled. And then I'm insane for trying to get it in store. Riiiiight.
Congrats juggling your online psychiatric practice with trolling people who are all supposed to be part of a community. ....and by the way, it's spelled "KNEW." You grammar checking is trolling pal. And I stand by what I said. Since most of your posts are strike outs and complainants, try a different strategy. All of the time you’ve invested in whining, and crying, no lifing pop finder, and posting and traveling, repeating all that and STILL not getting what you want. You’ve invested farrrrr more than I have by my strategy my Friend. Click. buy. Easy . You’re welcome.
