As much as I love GI Joe, this CI experience w/Target has beaten me into submission and I have officially thrown in the towel on this line. My baroness sold for $175 and beach head sold for $100 alone. It's not my fault or any other seller's fault that there are people out there willing to pay these kinds of prices.

In the end, hasbro lost another paying customer of this line. I went form being a completist of this line to just buying my favorites if I happen to see them out in the wild.

This. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THIS.
1. This is all Hasbro/Target's fault.
2. Losing their most loyal Joe buyers.
3. Buyers drive demand, and ultimately set the prices on eBay (auctions, not B-I-N).

Had to approve another delay this morning, still holding at "Backordered." Ridiculous.

I'm sorry to everyone getting their orders cancelled by Target's joke of a "system".



It does re-affirm that I made the right decision that day by going to Pulse instead of Target. (Pulse had Star Wars exclusives go live at the exact moment these went live on Target, as well as 00 Snake Eyes and Zartan).

Going forward, I am going straight to EBay to buy from scalpers for Target exclusives because I know whatever I pay is worth avoiding the countless/pointless trips I make to Target. I am seriously so sick of getting in my car and driving between multiple Target locations only to find NOTHING. Then I keep buying other crap because "well, I'm here" and I am tired of giving them my money when I'd rather be crushing some Target-corporate heads into the ground.

Now I see Target is going to have an exclusive Keldor and Kronis 2-pack for Masters of the Universe Origins and I just want to f'ing rage.

Target is shit and I wish nothing but the worst for the people up top.

If you time it about 4-6 weeks after the street date for the exclusives that has been when ebay prices were the lowest for both waves. There are also good samaritans on the board who collect extras and sell them here, typically for retail or not much over.

Launch day today for Legends House of X. Walked into target, full pegs of the whole wave. Got my Wolvie, Marvel Girl and Cyclops. No drama, no scalpers, and plenty left for the next guy at almost 11AM. This is how it should be.
