I also believe it, I've also had bad experiences with Targets online order fulfillment getting things wrong. I've ordered four pairs of jeans from them in two orders, two per order. First order had a pair with the wrong size, other pair was wrong but that was my fault. Ordered another two pairs after returning the original order and they still got the wrong size on one of the pairs.

I went first thing this morning and checked the Targets around me. Nothing. NADA! NOPE! Empty F-ing pegs. Before I left I checked all the sites and they still said 0 but I noticed on Popfindr that the statement about Target is gone. So that seemed to only be up there for one day. Does that mean it is working again?

I can confirm about the in store kiosk. If you use any words it only comes back with other Joes. I then put in the DPCI like this, 087168296, and the Viper popped right up. It even told me what aisle it is supposed to be in. So it is still in there. I checked that other DPCI of 087-16-3310 and the thing came back with a not found. Doesn't exist.

I also did a deep dive search on eBay and no Vipers have been sold or are for sale anywhere around me. Closest that sold were 100 miles away. I noticed some seller sold pre-orders for 6 figures before Christmas. I wonder if they filled their orders?

These Vipers just seem MIA around me.






If anyone cares I got a new excuse from Target management this morning. Keep reading for the story:

I got to Target this morning as they opened. I thought I was the first person in the store. When I got to the toy section I noticed two guys already there talking to a Target employee in the main aisle. I guess they must have went in the other door and beat me there. I noticed the one guy was holding a MOTU Battle Cat and that the Target employee they were talking to looked like the manager who bit my head off last August when I just asked about G.I. Joe. So I looked in the aisle for Joes and, of course, two EMPTY F-ing pegs. I then went to the next aisle to see if they had any Star Wars.

The two guys that were talking to the manager then came down the aisle to look again at the MOTU stuff that was next to the Star Wars items. The one guy says to the other, "Man that guy was a F-ing A-hole!" His buddy says, "Ya he was totally unhelpful. What the F was he talking about?" I turned to the guys and asked, "What did that guy say to you?" The one guy tells me that the guy was a total jerk to them and that he told them there is some "collector rule" and they have to come back at 10:00 AM. I laughed and said that is a new one. I told them that I had a bad run in with the same guy in August. They couldn't believe how rude the guy was to them. They did not seem like collectors at all and did not know about DPCI numbers or that G.I. Joe had a new 6" line. The guy was just interested in buying one Panthor and he said he called before he came and the person on the phone told him to come down. He was not very happy and said he was going to go find someone else and complain to the store manager.

He went to the next aisle over and ran into another clerk. I slowly followed from behind and listened in on the conversation. This time the clerk was totally helpful. He looked up the item. He did not say anything about a "collector rule" or to come back in a few hours. None of that. He found that Panthor was not at this store but another one nearby. So the two guys walked away and the clerk then turned to me and said, "Can I help you find something?" I said, ya, have you seen any G.I. Joes around here? That is all I said. The guy's eyes got real big. He looked shocked or surprised. He then blurts out, "I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT!" He then immediately turns to his left and fast walks away from me and goes into the back of the store. I literally laughed out loud as he scurried away. WHAT. THE. F???

We should start a thread and list all the reactions and excuses that we have all gotten from Target employees. They seriously just make this sh_t up as they go.
