I'd like to say how incredibly awesome this group has proven to be. Even though he was the very first to respond, @Sataninjaku gave up his "winning slot" so that someone else could get a Firefly figure. So, I went to the next in line, who is thrilled.

In a world of negativity, anger, and frustration (and not just having to do with getting our hands on plastic soldiers), it makes me feel good to see that kind of kindness, and makes me feel even better that I picked up these figures to share, even though I've already got one for myself.

I'm aware. I was just pointing out, that yeah, Hasbro misjudged the demand for GI Joe, but hell, they couldn't even properly gauge the demand for Mandalorian figures. And it was a hit fricking show.

Indeed. And if I can ever get my hands on some figures at retail, I'll buy them all and come straight here to make the same offer to fellow fans so fewer people have to resort to paying through the teeth on EBay.

My son asked for a Mando figure for Christmas and it wasn't even a specific one. I searched online and at MANY stores and found NONE. I couldn't believe it. I'm also blown away by the fact they underestimated demand for that character. And yeah, I could have told them (or anyone) that demand would be pretty high for GI JOE as well.

Distributors must be much more wary of surplus stock these days or something. I joke around because I see some fans/collectors declare something a "peg warmer" just because there *is* stock available somewhere.

I need to start collecting more boring toys or something.
