So where you live there is a line out the door to get into Target in the morning? I went on 12/1 as soon as they opened to grab the exclusive Mando set. There was no line. I sat in my car and watched the Target clerk unlock the door. I then leisurely walked in and was the only customer in the store for a while it looked like. I easily got the figure. Now it is selling for a lot more I noticed and people on the Star Wars sites said they are still waiting for their Target pre-orders. I live in a pretty populated area too.
I am hoping it is the same way Friday. But watch now that I said something there will be a line. I also keep checking and I am just getting zeros too. Going either way Friday and asking.

My local Target doesn't have a huge line, but it does have about 5-6 dedicated scalpers, that show up EVERY week EVERY time a new truck arrives. They aren't collectors, or fans, strictly scalpers. They scalp everything from pops, to Star Wars, to GI Joe, etc. They just hop from hot item to hot item. I've talked with this location's manager about this. There's not much they can do about it, other than limit it to one per person...and they only can do that if they are aware it's a hot item. Oddly, they seem to leave the Walmart right next door alone. I have much more luck there.
I also disagree with Jedi Jones about the pre-orders. Target is no better than Walmart in that regard. Also, there are 20 Target locations near my home, all 20 are currently showing Zero vipers. Odd, because in the summer, Florida seemed to be getting stuff first.

I agree with the part where pre-orders, any pre-order, doesn’t get fulfilled first and product hits the stores, in some cases sells out. It is totally maddening, The whole idea of a pre-order is to guarantee the product you are ordering before the mass release.

I will say one thing for Target this time around. Many stores have had stock for weeks and very few figs have made it to ebay so it seems they are sticking to the street date fairly well.

As of right now, I see zero stock of the new CI figures at any Target within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI. Here we go again... The same old Target-exclusive chaos starts tomorrow. Ha.

I just did a quick search on Popfinder. Anything North of Cincinnati is showing zero. So, the Ohio River is about the border right now. Distribution to the South seems to be filling up - but has not started yet in the North.
