I’m not sure they’re returns, lot of stores are getting more stock now. If they are, at least they didn’t damage the boxes first. I’ve seen around here several black series that had the sides ripped by scalpers returning them.
My local stores have pickup available for Bludd. Been that way all morning without going out of stock so I think we’re approaching saturation. |

I've always thought return policies at retail stores were odd to begin with. For what reason should a store buy product back from you? I understand gifts and "I just don't want it"... but most other purchases seem like they should be final. Perhaps allow exchanges for a different size - or different item if you bought the wrong thing. But just outright returning something seems counter intuitive to retail.
I find it disgusting that they let you return swimsuits, underwear, things like that. My wife worked at Victoria's Secret corporate offices when she was younger... the stories she tells me. |

I remember when I worked at Kohl's back in college, people would return Target brands and the store would accept it. They had the easiest return policy ever back then and people took advantage of it.

This is something I am concerned about, because I don't want them to end up peg warming and Target / Hasbro end up not producing something because now Joe figures don't sell.
Hoping for the best because this last week has been pretty good for Joe figs and what people see in the wild and can order. It is not perfect but a step in the right direction. This is always an issue with toy lines, as much as folks want a constant stock on shelves, it's not good for business, and right now can GI Joe sustain itself in the mass market compared to other toys without the toy collectors going nuts over them? You got one person walking into stores and buying the entire inventory now, how would those toys have sold if it wasn't in demand by these scalpers? 4 cases of Bludd ona shelf is a bad look, im sure its some kind of snafu, but really that's not what the line needs cause once stores see unmoved product sitting there, is when they start ordering less or not wanting it anymore. |

I disagree with this whole heartedly. There are a TON of reasons to return shit (especially during the pandemic when they would not let you try on clothes). Shoes that start hurting your feet after a couple hours, defective appliances, furniture assembly missing parts in the box, false advertising, etc. Plus, how do you differentiate what is and isn't a gift?

Yep. I bet. Victoria's Secret has an unwritten policy to 'just wipe off any marks' and re-sell it.

Agreed. From the department of "Collectors are never happy": It figures that when they finally start distributing large quantities of a cobra island figure to stores, it's a non-army builder. Wish we were seeing large quantities of vipers showing up.
