So the base is clearly a 3d part, as seen in that one close-up of his boots, but is the throne itself just printed? It's odd that it's always out of focus....

I think the throne is a cardboard back drop. But if you chop it all up correctly you can make a decent background.

Out of the 3 versions of Cobra Commander, I like this one the most. The Cap’n Crunch version didn’t do anything for me, so it was a pass. The darker blue version looks better, but I’m definitely going to try and get this version.

Meh. Not a big fan of this to be honest. In fact the only one I like so far is the lighter blue color way which was more accurate to the Marvel comics first couple years.

But glad they're coming out with these versions as special editions to make everyone else happy. If you like it, BUY IT.
