Abs-fucking-olutely. We need more kids into GI Joe. Good job on the parenting there.

Right... So much dirty talking about the game and there's not even been GI Joe games for years... Plus in today's age most of the games have new content to add to the game for a small price... I think that's way better than year past that we had to stock until a new version came out if any at all...

I honestly never spent more than $25 for a joe figure. the only thing that bothers me is the multi-playerand selectable characters, wish it was 4 vs 4 at least plus more characters outside of the small roster.

I'm playing thru on the second hardest difficulty (Man of Action I think) and I can't get my AI partner to do squat. Just stands there and doesn't shoot. When the AI does move it's right in my line of fire.
The targeting system is a joke as well. I have 'auto-aim' turned on but you have to repeatedly hit your aim button for it to lock back onto opponents. This is a $20 game a best. Nostalgia will cost ya extra... |

Back in August (and on page 33 of this topic) I did post that I contacted the publisher and was told that while a PC version is planned, a release date has yet to be determined.

The reviews are starting to are ready look a little discouraging. But I guess that's all relative really. I'm still going to buy the game and check it out for myself.

For those who don't know, most PC version of console games can take months or even a year after been released for the intended advertised consoles...

So, I hope I'm misreading that, but I'm getting a "you should just appreciate it, no matter the quality, just because it's [insert IP]," with which I absolutely disagree. I have close friends who are such DC fanatics that they don't care that about half the WB/DC theatrical releases are crap because "hey, just be happy we're getting these." No. That does not compute. Why shouldn't fans demand quality in the IPs they support? I was mildly looking forward to this game, but the reviews I'm seeing have me waiting for it to be part of a free download on PSN in six months to a year. There's nothing wrong with expecting quality from studios/corporations that handle our favorite IPs, & there's nothing wrong with voicing disappointment when these IPs are mishandled. If you still choose to support a bad movie just because it has DC characters or a bad video game just because it's G.I. Joe, that's your choice, good on ya, but don't sit there & condescend to us that are disappointed & expect better.

I couldn’t tell a good video game from a bad one, because I don’t like playing video games. My children love video games, and tell me that this is a terrible video game. We keep laughing at it as we play it, because it is so bad. The last console G.I. Joe video game we purchased was in 2009 with G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra video game. While I liked that one better than this new one, my kids tell me that this G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout game is a better game for “gameplay” as they put it. Looks like crap to me, but if children have fun playing that sort of thing, then more power to them. But for me, this is like watching a cheesy monster movie such as Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. It’s so bad that it makes me laugh, and that makes it a fun part of the G.I. Joe brand history.
