On the TNI (Toy News International) youtube show, he mentioned that Hasbro was planning to announce updates to multiple lines on 4/9/21. It may be another Hascon Youtube show like that did iver the summer. He wasn't sure, but he was sure if the date

This would be akin to someone buying a brand new car for 20k, taking it to a different dealership and they buy it back for 20k, and then buying it back the second day for 5k. Then repeating it over and over. Walmart put the policies in place and he exploited them to an extreme extent. I personally could not do it. The $75 he was 'profiting' for the two hours or so of work he was doing wouldn't be worth my time. But he lived off his parents so it let him stretch his allowance alot farther. I don't know if it was fraud. I can tell you I would have felt morally corrupt doing it and wouldn't do it. I had the chance to do it for years and didn't ever do it. |

@nighthawk, great pics! The thing that throws me the most about the pilot is the material he's made of and the vest. Especially the blue. It doesn't seem in sync with any of the other modern cobra figures I have color wise or the way in which it's so soft. Also, the details in the vest and the figure, like buckles and straps seem loose, not with the sharp detail of previous figures I have.
Maybe you guys with more experience can explain this evolution? Or maybe it's not a drastic shift? I did some side by sides in that video I made because it really bugged me and stood out. https://youtu.be/lSNCQxWdRa4?t=448 Regarding the design, i suspect that they want to mimic marvel or even classified articulation going forward. The disproportionate limbs are just very unfortunate though. As for the blue colour, the only resemblance i can think of is Scrap Iron. The torso and arms might even work for a custom, but those legs with the goofy feet will always look weird though. |

I partially agree with you here. I see that maybe they want to go in the Marvel direction but then wouldn't they have gave Crankcase and the Hiss Driver the same articulation? |

Yeah, good point. Crankcase was made from old parts though, wasn't he? And the driver torso uses existing parts. I think the pilot was the first figure using all new parts. But yeah, you'd think they'd at least be consistent with the design.

Hey! Not bad, thanks! Same ol'.
Yeah, I'm convinced Walmart is actively "scalping." Whereas Amazon adjusts prices downwards in an attempt to offer or match the best price available, Walmart only drops prices on shit that isn't selling well. If it is selling though...shit, watch out for them rising prices! Fuck Walmart.

After having my awe striker sitting in a box for a long time, i finally decided to put it together.
The peg for the cannon is a huge improvement, but the rollcage is missing some of the detail of the earlier releases. That's a bummer. Also, the "hose" is made from a better material than the 25th versions. It doesn't collapse as easily when you bend it. Funny how such a small change can make for a big improvement. |

He dropped the info via his social media accounts. But he only talked about Marvel perspective. Can't confirm about other brands. Not sure if the posts are still there. |

That set was made in Vietnam, whereas the Hiss and Awe were made in China. I think that is why there is a big difference. I just hope we don't see these parts again.
