Yes Mockingbird Lane is a cool store! It's small, but the inventory is unique and worth checking out. But call the store first to verify address and directions. Last I was there, Google Map can't and won't locate the store correctly.
I'm set with vintage figures, unless they've got a Mego 12 inch Magnetic Batman, loose but minty. I'm still waiting for a retro re-release of that one, forty years out. |

Sorry we Kansas boys derailed this thread a bit. In summary, no wave 5 in 10 Walmarts covering Topeka and the Kansas City burbs. By my numbers that covers...134.7% of the state.

You can speed up the cure time using cornstarch or dishsoap as well (which can be messy), provided you're using 100% silicone. As an added bonus, if you want to muck about with dioramas, it doubles as a good cheap medium for water/liquid effects. I've also used it to make flames with some pretty good results.

Last I saw the West Kellogg Walmart in Wichita had an action figure aisle that looked like a ghost town. That's an hour-plus road trip in one direction for me. Haven't been the in about a month, but the aisle never really changes.

Relatively quick, you just have to let it cure. The nice part is that once it's cured, it'll just peel off of the plastic and/or metal, no chemicals or hard work required. It's only as messy as you make it- as you're really just looking to replace that original rubber dot that's in the outer-thigh, it's literally just as easy as picking up a small glob with a toothpick, popping it in the depression, reassembling, and not moving it for a few hours.
