It’s funny when I played ball, my parents made sure hat I had a bat and a glove, or my pads and helmet, cleats etc but we got ourselves to the field. We never left the neighborhood for a single game. And if we had to travel as far as ten city blocks for the All Star games that would ultimately lead to the Little League World Series every over worked blue collar parent would roll their eyes and gripe at the chore. Now a days it seems like having a kid in any sort of program is a full time job for a parent. God forbid both parents work, and around here most folks work in Manhattan and do t even get home until 6:30 at night. It’s too much. I’m all for organized sports (or any group activities) from a young age but these kids need a little time to decompress as do the parents. Up until maybe a couple years ago I was working 70 hours a week for the extra OT and getting home between 9 and 10 PM. Thank god my wife was able to run the kid around for this stuff.

It's not GI Joe Classified, but it seems the rumored Target exclusive policy of "no preorders, no stock indicators, just come in and get 'em in store" (aka the Target "Fuck Around and Find Out") has taken place with the MOTU Origins Keldor/Kronis 2-pack.
MSRP $29.99 Currently on eBay for $220-250 This does not bode well - at all - for any future Cobra Island waves barring the exception of showing up in Hasbro Pulse partner section. Now, now, Mattel ≠ Hasbro, but they've admittedly been *crushing it* in distribution and availability for the most part. Perhaps this is also early hysteria and it'll be fine in a week's time. However, while I'm willing to admit there are some caveats at play here that are unique to the situation, I will be standing by with a large plate of crow to serve up to that homeboy who wrote an essay earlier about how my alarmism was completely wrong. I don't like to be an "I told you so" person, but that doesn't mean I'm not in the position to be one.

I don't think you can blame everything on video games. We had Atari, and at the time that was huge, but we still played with our toys. I'll throw two alternative factors into the mix.
1-McFarlane toys turning action figures into statues. They appealed to older kids but had no play value. They also upped the expectations for what an action figure should be - size, paint apps, realism. And now we have 6" "action" figures, but mostly they're just little statues. 2-Lego licensing. I know that with my kids it was way better to get a Marvel lego set than to buy action figures. The lego set would have at least one vehicle and usually several heroes. Plus lego is more "educational" because you can rebuild it and reuse things. My kids never got into star wars or marvel figures but played with lego all the time. Jason |

Are sightings still being kept track of? If so, a guy on tfw2005 found a Fang in Davenport, IA yesterday. Wave 3 was here for a second as well, but I haven't seen figures in at least a month.

A guy up in Rogers, AR posted on our Arkansas Toy Collector FB page a picture of a FANG he found. So, it looks like more are being shipped out.
