Anybody point out that maybe they where trying to be more like this guy from the fang 3 than the original?

Sounds like the three different Wal Marts I have ventured too. One of them got a restock of hiss tanks but nothing else besides mini figs and a lonely Classified Gung Ho. The other two (including one I went to yesterday) had no Joe product to be found at all.

Collecting the 25th/ROC/POC era was a lot of fun - figures and vehicles were plenty, Kmart, WalMart, Target and TRU were all carrying GI Joe. I don't have the time, energy or money to stake out every Wal mart within a 50 mile radius to try and track down a figure these days. The distribution has been inconsistent to say the least.

So did the FANG ever show up in the states? I haven't heard/seen anything since all our preorders were cancelled.

A few of us here (incl myself) got their online preorders shipped.

Have seen zero confirmation of any in-store sightings other than Canada.

I thought they hit CA, but that's it.


EDIT: Sorry. The Fang has not been seen in California. Just in Canada, Hong Kong, and those people who's pre-orders didn't get cancelled. They got them in the mail several weeks ago.

Some dude on Reddit claimed that he found one in South Carolina.

I just feel lucky that my preorder came in.

I would be curious as to where in SC they claimed it showed up. I have never seen the fang or awe striker in the wild here. Perhaps they saw it at a toy show or a specialty shop rather than at retail, especially since most if not all of the Walmarts around here are suffering the distribution shortages which have been documented in previous posts of this thread.

I have a feeling that was a returned pre-order, that the employees out out on the shelves. I would think differently if he posted a pick of the WM tag on the shelf.
