Hasbro likely just made a “Classic Scarlett” headsculpt, and then reused the file for both the Retro figure and Ninja Core figure.

Too bad they didn't shrink down the Ninja Core Movie line 6" Baroness head to put on the 2009 body for Retro Baroness.

I can't really see it myself but if you're right, I look forward to swapping in an SE Baroness in my collection if a 4" becomes available because I am loving the tousled bob and overall face sculpt. While mostly classic looking for the most part, I've no problem replacing classic looks with superior modern ones (for example, I'll take Renegades Law over the FSS trad colour scheme version any day, PoC Quick Kick and Dusty, etc).

I’m pretty comfortable with waiting for someone to shrink it and buying it from a caster. I don’t think we will ever see 4 inch figures from this movie. I assume there will be a new 4 inch line someday (don’t really count Retro as new - not enough new parts) but I don’t think we get a new line with this movie.

Amazon is getting in on the scarcity Butt-Fuckery, too. I had a couple of Classified troopers preordered for $20 each, but they kept pushing the ship date back to “who-knows?”, as long as they were getting more money for them.

I’ve only had about 30% of Joe preorders actually make it to my door without being cancelled or damaged beyond keeping. Walmart cancelled 2 of my 3 AWEs I ordered, and I only ever found one in store, and they delivered both SE and Baroness figures from Wave 1 utterly smashed (like if someone stomped them into the too-small box, which I returned), cancelled both Storm Shadows, and only delivered wave 2 in halfway decent condition. The only wave that ever showed up was 2, and wave 3 I’ve never even seen in stores. Target cancelled both the Classified Vipers I got for a buddy, after pushing it back 5 times.

But nothing beats Walmart’s incompetence. I didn’t even bother with wave 3 preorders, and figured I’d pick up a Lady Jaye if I ever saw one in person and the eyes were good. But scalping your own store exclusive via $30 preorders is bonkers. It’s like they’re intentionally trying to tank this line.

Found a random Roadblock at Walmart today Must've been a return or something, I'm assuming. Bought it mostly because it was nice to see something interesting in the aisle for a change.

If you really need an AWE - my local stores both have about 10-15 of them sitting on the shelf. They've been there for months and have not moved.

Nice!!! I haven't stepped foot in a WM for about 2 weeks now. The same "only 3 left" at this store, and "only 1 left" at that store are still listed on the app. No need to go until those listings change. I hate having these huge lulls in distribution after each wave has been out for a few weeks.
