I do agree if Hasbro were even thinking about launching a new body type, it should have started in wave 1.

I'm not sure about debuting new material in the line, either. As much as I would like to see the COIL scaled down, repainted blue, and released with an update of the '86 Motor Viper... I'd rather see something like that in Fan Channel with a few different retailer options.

For now, I can live with non-army-builder anniversary figures with improved paint applications. Like Beachhead v17 or Outback v10.

Hey, you know who those goofy oversized fang pilot feet don't look too bad on? Roadblock!
I was messing around with my retro version, and tried swapping the boots. He's a big guy already, so they don't even look too big on him, AND it gives him some much needed ankle articulation.

Does it affect his height in any way? Or do you think he's still the same height?

So you cut off RB's boots and glued the Fang pilot's on? I dont remember RB's leg havinv a boot swivel. If it's easy to do, I’m tempted to get that RB after all.

I wouldn't even care that my Fang pilot has no feet as you wouldn't see them anyways when he's in the Fang

There's a slight difference. I guess if you cut off the cuff on the pilot boots, it'd be the same height.

Yep, i just cut those boots clean off, as you can see above. It doesn't get much easier. And no, the original boots didn't have any articulation, hence my little experiment.

That's my first time noticing the leather strap on the boot, which is going to bug me now.

I'd understand it if it were purely a tanker boot design. Serves the same practicality. But Cobra really sending their troops out to fight in some sort of bootleg Louboutin fashion boots?
