LOL..I had similar comments when I took pictures of the 6" Black Series Walmart Jedi Luke Skywalker. Mine was worse though, I was showing how to stick a pin in his crotch to tighten his t-bar.

same here. I got a few of the retro SE.. one came so smashed that the bubble was off.. so I messed with it a bit. The cards are definitely cheap trash

but the figure is solid. Maybe he got a bad one???

Yeah man, alongside Duke, the Fang pilot is the only one I knew was out just from seeing the first pics of it. I'd actually say it's way worse than Duke, because at least Duke is still recognizably a Joe figure.

On the other hand, I was put off by Roadblock initially, but once I saw him on the peg, I decided that he was the best we've gotten so far (barring the FSS release, of course) and snapped him right up.

As for the Snake Eyes, I've had four in hand so far before donating them to other 'tankers, and he's just as solidly built as any modern Joe in my collection. Better than most 50th, in fact. Luckily, I've always been a visor fan, so I consider it the best version of the character we've had to date, and the only SE I need in my ME collection.

As weird as this might sound, the colors are different. I know both figures are molded in white, but the Retro figures have a different sheen to them. After opening a Retro Storm Shadow I was greatly disappointed. The Renegades and 50th "ultimate" Storm Shadows are way better. Even with the new paint apps the Retro Storm Shadow has an almost golden skin color. Plus the white plastic is so bright it almost seems like it's glow in the dark. I ended up gifting my second Storm Shadow to a boys gift basket my wife put together for Christmas.

Now Snake Eyes on the other hand, I prefer the Retro Snake Eyes over the POC and 50th (2-pack) versions. I have seen some of the retro Snake Eyes have a dull black look (almost grey arms), but the ones I picked up look great. All the joints are tight and I like the added detail of the grey paint apps.
