The Target exclusives have been available at TRU in Canada a number of times since their initial release. I think Target's exclusive rights to the Cobra Island line are only in US stores.

A few tips for those hunting Retro as I have had decent luck in tracking them down...

From my experiences, this seems to update between 2:30-3:30pm with the incoming shipments from that day.

If they do show up, check this Walmart listing with the same zip code that is showing on brickseek: https://www.walmart.com/ip/GIJ-RETRO...-AST/429597575

If the quantity is a multiple of 6, it is probably a fresh case (or your store just has 6+ Snake Eyes or Destros for you to get disappointed by).

If they show up for that store as available for in-store pickup on Walmart.com it means the figures are either out on the floor or at least on a pallet likely in the main aisle waiting to be unpacked. At this point it is worth heading there or doing an order for in-store pickup and hoping you get the figures you want. I will note that if you do an in-store pickup and don't get the figures you want, you can't return them right there on the spot and will have to wait until their systems refresh (possibly overnight).

If they aren't showing on Walmart.com for that store, then they are still in the back and haven't been scanned for the sales floor yet.

The wildcard is that if they show "available for in-store purchase only," it's a crapshoot. They may be out or might not be. From my experiences on this chase, some stores will keep them as unavailable for pickup but other stores this is a sign that they are in limbo between being moved from the back and haven't been shelved yet and they will go available for in-store pickup within 1-3 days, which signals they are actually out on the floor.

If your store is showing inventory on brickseek and on walmart.com available for pickup but there aren't actually figures there (probably due to theft or employees stashing them), the only way I have found to get them to zero them out is to place an in-store pickup order and have them cancel the order (as they will adjust the in-store inventory at this time).

If items sell (either in store or for in-store pickup), brickseek usually updates it within 2 minutes of the purchase. It can be frustrating and a lot of work, but if you want them badly enough...

I went through all of this to get 2 Scarletts in W2 and it worked again to find an LJ from W3.
