I think the 25th Fang (that came with 2 figures and a Claw) was still less than $25. Yes it was 12 years ago, but still cheaper than this. I guess a pretty box mostly filled with air has its costs too.

The one that I was mentioning was the “Duke” pilot figure from the Retaliation Joe Jet type vehicle. He had a piece that was hooked to a rope on the vehicle.

Wow, so it looks like I have some catching up to do. These figures, are they all the same as existing modern figures? New designs? New construction styles? Would they fit in with the current ME figures or would they seem to be targeting the Fortnight demographic?

They can sit well with most 6 inch lines, and I’d say the figures them selves are designed well enough for the older collectors with dumb weapons to tone down the “violence” look and cater to the new future generations, hence fortnite demographic as you stated.

Welcome back man!!! Talking about the Retro line (only sold at WM), just about all of them are 4" modern era repaints. The only new tooling we have seen is a new head for Scarlett (which is really good), a new head for RB (which is a shrunken down Classified RB head), new heads for Hiss driver and Crankcase, new glued on vest for hiss driver, new helmet for crankcase, new thighs and feet for Hiss driver (the thighs are engineered weirdly causing him to have a wide stance), and a newly tooled Fang and Fang Pilot which does not look like Joe to me. Everything else we have gotten before.

Thanks, that's a good start. Glad to hear they aren't totally rebooting the current modern-era format so much as building on it a little bit. Are they going to remain Walmart only? Walmart is the absolute pits when it comes to keeping anything in stock. I'd love to see them at Target again.

Crankcase has more going than a hew head, they went with almost all new parts. I'm sure kitbashed, but a serious improvement over his Target exclusive version.

Unfortunately we're stuck with Wolly-world for the foreseeable future. Our local Walmart stocked the figures for a little while, and got one case of Hiss tanks, but their recent reset doesn't even have any pegs up for their own exclusive. Check Walmart.com, they're your best bet if your local stores are as bad as mine. Good luck.

So I've learned. I visit a few Walmart locations FREQUENTLY and I have NEVER seen a single retro figure in stock. I have received some of my pre-orders while others remain delayed indefinitely.

Would have been nice if they would have done more with this. Could have included the hooded head or something. I mean they included all the stuff with SS and SE for the most part.
