So long as the vehicle cockpit is designed to hold these newer action figures, we could always discard the new Cobra Officer figure and replace it with a better figure of our choosing.

I Love the ASP. Got it on my 8th birthday. Don't even need the figure with it. If the vintage one didn't come with a figure, I am not expecting one with it now. I'm more than happy to pay for a 30th Cobra Trooper or nice Officer on vintage card if they release them in the same wave. Great thing about the ASP is that they could rerelease them in both red Sears color scheme and the Python version. Hasbro loves to reuse the molds.

I'd totally be down with an ASP, several in fact. But my #1 choice would be a Stinger. Never was able to find one at the tale end of the 25th era. My original RAH version needs reinforcements!

I like the Stinger idea, but I would prefer a Ret. NCC painted in Stinger deco. It holds more figures and would be a great update. I painted one up myself, but I would like it factory painted.

And throw in a CV Stinger Driver for good measure!!!

FredVIII & 46 Zone, I agree with you both. I missed out on the 25th Stinger when it originally came out and like 5 years later gave in and bought one on Ebay. I also passed on the NCC because I wasn't buying many vehicles at the time. (I didn't have much space for vehicles in my apartment back then.) A classic Stinger redco of the NCC would be amazing, though. CV driver would be great, but i'd settle for a straight 30th/POC trooper repaint.

When has that stopped them? All of these are examples of not being true to the vintage card art:

Retro SE, SS, RB, Duke, LJ (promo pics show black hair, not brown like the art), Fang, and Fang Pilot (it should be a POC CT in CO deco).
