I used to believe that this Walmart Retro line would produce the Cobra Rattler and the Skystriker, but now seeing that some production has shifted from China to Vietnam, I’m uncertain that the tooling can be easily relocated.
Investing in brand new tooling for a vehicle sounds costly, so maybe now is the time for Hasbro to invest in retooling a new Cobra A.S.P. (Assault System Pod) for 2021 to accommodate modern action figures and go well with the H.I.S.S. Tank they recently marketed. (This investment will allow for later reproductions in Crimson, Arctic, or Python Patrol colors.) Similar to this mock up image my kid made, it could include some sort of Cobra Officer as a newly sculpted figure with a silver Cobra emblem on the chest. I doubt that the new sculpting and articulation would be to the quality of the previous Pursuit of Cobra line, but one could always hope. So long as the vehicle cockpit is designed to hold these newer action figures, we could always discard the new Cobra Officer figure and replace it with a better figure of our choosing.

Inventive? All time low? Absolutely ridiculous. It's a pic of Crankcase in the figure's place if you can't tell... some shitty people in my area...

Regarding vehicles for the Retro line, assuming they keep releasing them, I would imagine they won't get any bigger than the HISS/AWE range, so stuff like the VAMP/Stinger, Skyhawk, Firebat, Flight Pod and Serpentor's Air Chariot would be the most likely.

Exactly. It did feel a bit light, but there were no others to compare it to
