Holy smoke, the arm broke off. Seems to coincide with the findings of that other video out of Hong kong.

Hopefully it's just with a select few. Didn't we have this issue with the Ultimate Cobra Commander's neck ball breaking when turning his head? Not every CC broke but it was quite a few.

I saw another review where someone said the arm doesn't bend. I thought it just didn't bend by design or something. I guess it is just an insanely stiff elbow joint. Sheesh. You'd think they'd have the engineering for these joints mastered by now. *shrug*

That's the thing. These are all new parts and the discs in the joints are huge!!! That may be why they are extra stiff. All of these parts just don't feel like ME Joes. They have more of a gangly Corps feel. I'll wait for this to be at 5B in 1.5 years before getting this.

Again, why spend the money on new tooling and give us a crappier product than what is available already? A 25th Fang and a DG CT painted in CO blue and silver would sell like hotcakes!!!! Total fail Mr. Mustache!!! You should pay Hasbro back for the tooling of this crappy figure.

I'd even be willing to forego the figure included since the vintage one didn't come with a figure, have them kept the vintage box art the way it was and sell me a nice Cobra Officer, either the one from the SDCC Missile Base set or just a 30th Trooper with silver insignia and rank on the helmet, on vintage card. I'd have gladly paid the extra 15 bucks for the figure.

According to Mark Weber - "Mustache" isn't responsible for ANY of the retro stuff we have seen so far. We don't know who did it but it wasn't him.

I feel for the guy having to go out there on those video presentations and having to show off stuff that he didn't work on and might not even like. Maybe he knows it sucks but He HAS to try to be super upbeat and excited about it. That's also part of his job.

So I am willing to wait and see what he will do

He said he "may" not be responsible. Mark also said the mustache is a huge TF fan. He did not say that the mustache was a Joe fan.

Destro did say that these designers are aware of the CV figures. It doesn't look like that knowledge has had any impact on this line so far. I guess we will see.
