So the general consensus is that the new FANG pilot is dogshit, in direct comparison with the new HISS tank driver, which is probably the best version of that figure that Hasbro has ever made. Gotcha.

The Head, Torso, upper arms, and chest plate are great on that figure. The forearms are crap, and the engineering on the thighs is crap, as the figure can't stand with his feet close together. He wouldn't be able to fit in a 25th Stinger due to the awkward socket sculpt of the upper thighs.

So that Hiss Driver is flawed too. Just not as bad as the ML Fang Pilot.

I'm just wondering if the design team was trying to replicate a Fortnite figure because they are popular
obviously it isn't the "design" that is popular but they have a game ie media that makes it popular whereas G.I. Joe has nothing
or perhaps they hired someone who also designed Fortnite figures at one time?

Some walmarts are starting to limit the size of the spot for the retro line though it was not that big to begin with. What do you guys think the chances are they just ship the rest to Ross and be done with it?

You mean going from 2 empty pegs to one empty peg?

I don't think the figures will end up at Ross given that they are bought up very quickly. The vehicles will make it to the discount chains for sure. They are clogging the shelves like crazy.

Instead of shipping the vehicles to Ross, they should ship them to the Walmarts where I live. Have not seen a single vehicle at any of their stores down here. They are selling out quick. I got mine online.

I really can’t even compare it to other modern Joes.
Without the signature articulation that Joe is known for, it just can’t fall into the same category for me. Figures like this, I usually keep the head and gear and toss the rest.

I personally think it’s less bad than it is jarring. If they’re looking to create a new design schematic for Joe, they should have started with a marquee character.
