GIJOE Retro Line Walmart Computer Listings

It isnt a fortnite figure man. They couldn't do that. It uses parts from the marvel universe line from years ago that is why it looks weird.

The ML part experts on here have stated that these are not ML parts.

Who knows how this got made, but it's a fail IMO.

Yeah, these are all new parts, buddies. Aside from the eye test, they stated as much at some point during the livestream reveal.

Which is concerning when you consider the remarks Weber made about waiting until we see the products Maher has actually designed before passing judgement.

I would guess that this is one of them. I do not understand the genesis of this figure.

The speculation that the FANG pilot is kitbashed from a Marvel figure seems to be mostly based on the fact that his "flight mask" looks a lot like Star Lord's space mask in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Seems very possible that someone from the same design team may have worked on it, at least.

I REALLY don't think it does.

I have ALL of the Marvel Universe figures. It doesn't look like any of those figures.

I also don't think it was a canceled figure designed for that line.
BY the time they canceled the line, the last few waves of figures looked alot different

As bad as the Fang and it’s wonky pilot are if Walmart is the only source for this line I’d say that we have bigger issues. Hasbro better start offering these through Pulse or ETailers because I’m about done with Walmart. At this point it would take a Hovercraft, Mauler, or Moray to get me to even think about wasting my time placing another preorder with Walmart.

Finally got my retro Scarlett. I really hate how she constantly looks down though. Here she is with some other Scarletts for comparison.

Agree with you on the neck angle. It surprises me even still that a simple thing like that just can’t be fixed.

The FANG pilot looks to be 100% new sculpt. Definitely not MU and although it is somewhat similar to the fortnite figures, it looks slimmer. The fortnite figures are a bit bulkier than Joes. The headsculpt is similar to star lord with his hair exposed up top but the details of the mask are way different. I'm curious to have one on-hand and see if it's a flexy, rubbery, cheap quality that the late MU figures and Joes have been post-POC
