Any news on the 3.75 front? I'd love to see some of the 2D sculpts be made. I think they were done in 3.75" scale. I'm new and getting the 6" scale, but I'd love to see the 3.75 crew get these too.

I'm by no means an expert on modern Joes, but I think those were produced a few years back:

I've been trying to score that Gung-Ho for ages*. *In the collecting world, the word "ages" is used to describe a period of more than 3 weeks. |

The Snake Eyes is amazing. I own the ONLY Gung Ho I ever saw at TRU. Woefully underproduced. If the ME era returns, they need to just keep doing what they were doing towards the end with new figures (the TRU repaints, not so much).
Still think Retro is going to be o ring. If the 6" line does well enough maybe it can have a modern 3.75" alongside it, much like is happening with Star Wars.

You know what would be interesting. Modern style figures (50th/PoC) but they are o-rings.

Heavens, but I am just so GLAD there is even this much to talk about, after a multi-year retail drought. |

The most significant benefit to modern figures is that all the construction elements of the figures are integrated into the actual figure molds. Making them (generally) cheaper because the factories don't have to source extra materials to finish production. O-ring figures have tremendous nostalgia, and the style of construction (generally) allows for FAR easier repair than ME figures. But factories have to source t-hooks and o-rings in addition to the molded elements, which add to the cost of the figure.
