While it is kind of crazy to have to get them from the back, I’m actually hoping to score them that way. Most likely if they hit the floor, Scarlett will be gone.

I was in a store yesterday and the pegs were empty. A little farther down the isle there was a trash heap of scattered toys and I noticed the new Black Series Endor Heroes wave.
Then I saw a Destro in the pile. I sorted through the entire pile and ended up stacking 3 Destro and 2 RB. No sign of Scarlett.
But wait! There’s more. I had an employee scan the $12.93 tags on the shelf.
She said, I’m sorry but we don’t have any. Really...
What about these 5 down here? It seems that their system was not picking them up by the tag.
She scanned the actual Destro UPC and it showed 5 on hand.
What in the actual hell???

Thanks a lot Hasbro for choosing this method to get us this product.

to be honest, not really sure whats goin on, they just went out of stock today, I really do not know if they are really reserving it for online orders or what cause I know for a fact they werent on pegs.

That's interesting because the 8 "mystery assortment" figures I ordered off walmart.com were shipped from Florida and South Dakota. I just assumed they were sent from warehouses/distribution centers, but maybe they were shipped from actual stores. I think all my preorders for wave 1 were shipped from California and Illinois. Who knows, maybe they are fulfilling from stores. That was a common tactic for retail chains just getting into e-commerce back in the early days of online shopping. You literally used your existing inventory systems and "warehoused" out of your stores, with people who worked at the stores pulling orders and shipping directly from there.

willing to bet this is what they did, cant even put it in for instore pick up, its only available for instore purchase.

Quick update - just checked my Walmart and they have a snake eyes and storm shadow, no baroness, I bet someone picked her up already, is it possible she dosent get sent in some cases? Also what's up with those assorted figures, do they send a specific wave of figures or do they just send whatever?

I believe that there is only one assortment per wave. So the cases we see are always 3, 2, 1 (with the "1" being the Baroness or Scarlet).

I found wave 2 in New Jersey a few days ago. I was wondering why there was only 2 scarlets and so many more roadblocks and destros. Now it makes sense they packed out two cases with scarlet one per case.

i meant the assortment listing on the walmart website, I dont understand why they dont just update the listings they already have for the figures.

I went to my nearest WM this morning and I was pressed for time so I couldn’t really stick around but an employee was really rude so later when I was not in a hurry I went back and spoke to a manager. I explained how I had been checking every day and they had stock on a trailer outside. I told him about the rude employee and he said we will make it right.
He went out to the trailer and I just browsed for 30 minutes or so.
They paged me to customer service and I went up.
He had 2 cases of Joes! My excitement probably showed.
He left and said have at them. I quickly realized I had just wasted this dude’s time as both full cases were wave 1. I was at a loss for words at that point and that may just end my hunt.

Walmart has taken all the fun out of the Retro line, for me. I'm receiving my online purchases but theyre, of course, being packed in plastic mailers and arriving severely damaged. I wait until they are in stock again and then initiate returns for replacements but they arrive damaged too!

I just decided to cancel all my orders and return what i have. Maybe I'll just collect the vehicles... Life is too short to deal with trying to give my money away.
