I’m in a frustrating situation with my local WM store.
They have confirmed for me that a case of Joes arrived.
However, they are sitting outside on a loaded trailer and they have no estimated time for when they will be brought inside.

I just got the same story. As I'm standing in front of empty pegs the stock person scanned the tag and said, "yes we have 8 in the back, but there is no location noted on where they would be. Therefore, I cannot go back and look for them."

Wow. I love how this situation is just deemed as acceptable by WM and Hasbro.

It's probably because all the Joe stuff gets bought up as soon as it hits the shelves by collectors (or as people call them now, "scalpers") [ yes I know scalpers exist and yes I know they do cause issues, but I don't believe they are what are causing the scarcity of all the Joe products]

Was reading just yesterday about a dude that took a Walmart job just so he could secure himself a PS5. After buying his PS5, he quit....THAT SAME DAY. LOL.

One in the same in most cases nowadays. Many collectors buy up all they find of a hot item and then resell to fund their habit...er, hobby. I've thought about it myself, but it's a skeevy hassle and I just don't have time or patience for that shit. There's just so much I'd prefer to be doing. I don't have a lot of free time for toys as it is, and what little I do have I'd much rather spend actually enjoying the toys rather than shopping for them, listing them and shipping them.

But anyway, there really are "professional resellers" out there who scalp the fuck out of anything in demand. This pandemic has increased their ranks too. A whole lotta skeevy shits about right now. Some turd in my own area has had at least 4 Scarletts listed on ebay at once. FOUR. AT ONCE. That's four cases, which likely means they hit four stores. That's why one per case is a stupid fucking idea always. And I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I think it's the same account that has had multiples of every hot item for the past year, including additional Scarletts. Why even bother go out looking with assholes like that around?
