Its always been a bit of a conundrum as to how I feel about the employees getting first crack and ultimately scalping this stuff. On the one hand, yeah, it sucks. But on the other... man, they work at Wal-Mart. That's not exactly a career or anything, so I get needing to find a side histle to feed the kids or whatever.
In short, yeah, I hate it, but I also get it. First world problems at their finest right there.

Wave 1 had a hard restock of wave 1 last weekend. I found wave 1 at 4 different stores. Hoping for a repeat pattern of that with Wave 2.

That's kind of an odd take because then the only way for the end consumer to get the product is to steal it before it even gets to the store or to pay a gouged price on the second-hand market. As a consumer that is also a fan of GI JOE, I don't desire that situation so now I am wondering *why* my three local Walmart stores have had exactly ZERO figures on the pegs. Have employees been stealing and/or purchasing all the products before they ever make it to the shelves? If so, lucky them, I guess.

I'm talking specifically about internal theft (whether the thief scalps or not) as a real problem. Not only does it remove an item from the shelf and rob the store of making money on it, it also keeps auto-replenishment from happening because it's technically still in the store's inventory even though it isn't.

Buddy of mine texted me this pic from his local Walmart earlier today.
After checking brickseek, looks like the A.W.E. Strikers are popping up again.

And at everyone, if I find one and buy it for the Crankcase, does anyone want the 'striker?

I definitely hope to land two of these vehicles at MSRP or lower, and similarly, if I do this first I'd happily offer you the extra Crankcase from one of them, no Strikers here yet though, but we only started looking yesterday.
