Yup. This wave is garbage. I'm out. I'll keep my wave 2 figure preorders for now, but i just cancelled my FANG preorder. My heart is with the 1/18 scale. I want this to succeed. but this shows that they're not trying.

I think the reasoning behind using those molds for Duke and CC is that they are both the most recent builds for those characters. CC is a repaint of the SDCC Missile Command Center CC and Duke is a repaint of the 50th 3 pack version. So to a newcomer like Mustache, they appear to be the best choices since they are the most recent versions of these characters.

I got in-stock alerts and placed orders for all three figures, sight unseen. Then I came here to see if there was a surprise vehicle release to track down and saw discussion about suicide wrist Duke, diaper crotch, and non-ultimate Cobra Commander. I immediately went back and cancelled all three figures. I always said their treatment of Duke would be the deciding factor and it remains true.

Was Lady Jaye just a 50th repaint?
