I sincerely apologize for Sataninjaku derailing the thread. However, as a member of a historically oppressed group (or two) myself, I don't appreciate being compared to a Nazi/fascist. (I know, I'm strange that way.)

At any rate, I never suggested restricting thoughts, just (excessive) word count/meme size. The sort of mammoth posts that are thankfully rather rare here. And almost exclusively the work of obvious trolls. Oh, and so I assume by your "logic", Twitter is fascist as well? (Wait. Don't answer that.)

In the future, perhaps you could confine the slander to your customary novel-length PMs. Or at least to a relevant thread.

Isn't O ring officially dead due to the rubber bands being a danger to kids? Hell, given the Fang Pilot seems to have terrible MU hips, I am worries about any life for ME figs.

In what way could an o-ring be a danger to kids? If it breaks (which they all eventually do), the worst that happens is that the two halves of the figure detach from one another. The band does not have enough tension to fling into a child's eye. Not to mention that being inside the body of the figure would prevent that from ever happening anyway.

O-ring action figures were on the market for over 20 years without ever being deemed a danger to anyone. I would be shocked if there's ever been one single report of a child allegedly injured by an o-ring. Any claims of the o-ring being a safety concern were fabricated by the company to justify their decision not to use them anymore.

I mean if a kid ate it they could get a blockage possibly. Rare but hell back in the day instructions told us how to put the batteries in the toy and now instructions tell the kids dont eat them. Different mindset these days and from a person that works a lot with kids and teens I think the screens they stare at suck the brains dry.

It really doesn't look like the thread was derailed at all. Sataninjaku just made one comment regarding the several comments made about post lengths. I mean if post lengths are a real issue with you there are actually admins here that you can PM and address your concerns. Trust me, admins are here and they are watching. Many troll accounts are constantly being deleted and they will continue to do so, so yes the admins are here. And if you feel a person is making your experience here uncomfortable by posting long posts, try PMing that person privately and hopefully you two can work together work something out beside derailing this thread.

So please, if you have an issue with someone try working it out privately through PMs and not in a thread

That's not really an o-ring problem so much as a small parts/choking hazard problem, which is just as true for modern-era figures as it is for o-ring figures (probably more so, since m-e figures all seem to come with 600 tiny accessories each).
