Ran into 2 hasbro reps this morning. They only had hisstnks, they had set ou a Case of classified so I figured ally got destro and duke. She was helpful and nmed a couple other stores that had so e stuff. Asked her about target ND she said she didn't know what there problem was.

Cn some body get some pictures of the boxes the retro figs come in? They always have pallets out and I want to know what I'm looking for.

Woah...well, you'd have a point if those sidecap displays were the only place the stores had to display Joes, but they were "single-use/one-and-done" displays, meant to be used for a short window of time (Walmart's sidecaps are plan-o-grammed too, I'm pretty sure, and only occupy that space until it's some other display's time to take that spot), and that's it. The actually cases of Retro figures weren't supposed to be displayed until the POG was reset to include them in the aisle on their own pegs.

Basically, in my situation, that rep was saying she can't put something on the salesfloor if it doesn't have a plan-o-grammed "home". She hadn't noticed or realized the store set the aisle to the new POG until I pointed out the pegs to her. After that, she was free to get them out of the back. Even if that store had had an empty Joe sidecap hanging there, I doubt she would've been able to put those wave 2 figures in it because that wasn't their allocated place. I'm sure a Walmart employee could've, but these reps are purely task-based and follow the instructions they're given. Her instructions probably say something like, "Stock GI Joe Retro Asst (numbers) according to POG (numbers)."

You can see the wave 1 box in this pic I took. Very small box that holds 6 figures.

They aren't even using the endcaps anymore. Most stores have a peg with a label. The endcaps never had a label. Just a sign above it saying $12.93. Chances are they were going to throw them out, even if they never put them up. They will probably put the figures on the pegs. It makes a really good display piece for your home collection.

The end cap for the retro figures was pretty ugly with the pegs sticking out I had a chance to be a 'asshat theif' but I don't steal garbage. They did a better job with the classified endcap.

I saw the Classified end cap once and only once as it disappeared literally by the very next day. Now I only see a random Classified figure here and there; Gung ho a few times, a Destro and a Roadblock that has been on peg for weeks at a local Walmart.

Hopefully in 2021 we see a greater presence of Classified on pegs as kids don't stand a chance at buying these with collectors snarfling them all up.
