What really sucks is that I've already turned down 2 sets of these figures from local collector friends because I felt secure enough with my pre-orders. Never again. Whether they actually ship on 12/1 (or before) I don't trust ordering from Walmart's site anymore.

Oddly, my HISS Tanks shipped. I didn't get a notification of this, but when I went to view my order, I saw that tracking was available and the two I ordered are en-route. Everything else, which was the three figures and two Strikers, are still pushed til the 6th.

I pre-ordered so quickly that I wasn't even able to see which vehicles I was getting bc WM hadn't updated the descriptions yet. At this rate, I may well go on a Striker hunt tomorrow, as I really only want one and have come around to being able to live without the figures.

Incidentally, this once again mirrors the situation with the classic/retro Ghostbusters stuff from the spring. There were six figures in the set, the four Ghostbusters and a Stay Puft and "Green Ghost" figure (Slimer). I got the two ghost figures long before I got the four hero figures. It seemed like Walmart shipped them out fairly shortly after they hit the stores, as my packaging had the "who you gonna call" phrase on the card that the first run of figures sported, but, for whatever reason, no one got any of the hero figures via preorder from that run. They seemingly stocked the stores with what they had, then didn't have enough stock to fulfill the preorders. Or maybe the preorders exceeded what they got, so they stocked the stores in lieu of fulfilling the orders, which is contradictory, but whatever. All I know is that getting that line was a stupid headache between Walmart's handling of the preorders and Hasbro apparently not owning the rights to the catchphrase they printed on the packaging.

A bunch of my retro preorders, made the first day, just got delayed until 12/1. So far it's the figures. Maybe the vehicles will ship.

Walmart preorders are worthless.

Just got the same notices about my figures. How the hell can they not fulfill the pre orders they took in July or whatever yet a lot of stores had these figures over a month ago. Freaking ridiculous

I just got a shipping notice for my AWE Striker preorder. Says they will be here tomorrow.

Received the delayed until 12/1 email for Baroness & Snake Eyes. Storm Shadow, AWE, and HISS all still unchanged. According to the WM website, the two nearest stores have both the AWE and HISS in stock. I was at both store today and found nothing, but I did chat with the Toy Dept Manager at one store. She said that there are GI Joes in the back but they are going to set them tonight or tomorrow night. Guess I will be there at opening in the morning. I have zero faith that my online orders will ship.

The plot thickens. Up until now it was only HISS that was going out. Good to see at least one of us is getting the AWE from a pre-order.

Did you get it the first day or one of the reappearances? I got my pre-order in on the latter - July 27th.

My HISS shipped (although I didn't get a notice), the AWE still shows to be here by Saturday. The other wave 1 figures still have the same date as well (I got the delay email too). We'll see...

I got the email about my Snake Eyes being 12/1.

However when I logged in to check my order status it still shows as 10/3 AND it now has my order separated into 2 different packages to be sent. The Hiss in one and Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in another.

OK maybe we should add these to the sightings list too since it seems to work again.

My recommendation to anyone who pre-ordered Stormshadow &/or Snake Eyes is to check that Figures Asssortment link to see if they have any in the area then just cancel the pre-order.
Since Baroness is only 1 to a case I would keep that pre-order as a backup.
