I'm sorry. I have to strongly disagree. I think Mustache (who I hope is Mark or this post is way off) was under the influence of drugs or alcohol (probably the former) and somewhat nervous during both presentations. His eyes and mannerisms seemed like a giveaway to me.

Canceled my two Transformers RED Soundwave orders after a Walmart rep could not even give me a remotely loose estimate on their shipping date (despite the figures already being available in stores), then turned around and bought one on eBay. At least now I'm assured of good paint apps. Fuck you, Walmart.

I'm letting my HISS Tank order stand, however. We'll see if they somehow magically manage to stick to the current October 6th estimate.

So I tried going through this thread but i got lost in this massive thread lol... so can someone give me the case assortment of the Retro Wave 1? Just trying to see how many of each (Baroness, Snake-Eyes, Stormshadow) came in each case.

The only portion of the Hasbro Pulse Con I watched was the G.I. Joe section. The other presenters did a good job, but they really limited the speaking role of Mark Maher, and I don’t understand why. I hope that it wasn’t for reasons of health, or any possible issues with substance abuse, and I wish him and others good health.

I liked how Ben Montano (marketing) opened the event and was impressed with the job he did throughout, but I wonder why Roni Noyman wasn’t there this time. Truthfully, I thought she did a terrible job last time, not that my opinion would matter to Hasbro or anyone else, but maybe her performance last time had something to do with why she wasn’t there this time.

Lenny Panzica was interesting to listen to, but because I have no interest in the G.I. Joe Classified line, I tend to tune out much of what he is saying. That’s no slight against him, because I believe that he is actually improving upon the design of that six inch product line since Wave 2.

Cecil Cates was sort of interesting to listen to regarding the packaging, but he came across to me as more of a fan than a business professional.

The sculptor, Cory Cantelupe, was very impressive both as an artist and as a knowledgeable G.I. Joe collector. I wish we had more people like that on the brand, with such a passion for G.I. Joe (maybe not as passionate as somebody like Mark Weber… but seriously, where can we ever hope to find another Mark Weber?).

If Irvin Ducournau is still the G.I. Joe Senior Brand Manager, then when will we ever hear from him? I guess the access we had to the Hasbro team over the many years of JoeCon will never happen again. If so, that’s too bad.
