Could this pattern be repeated with the new wave 2 figure carton to equal three Destros, two Roadblocks, and one Scarlett action figure, or something to that effect? Probably. I would guess that these figure cartons are half the volume of a vehicle carton, or less. The new vehicle cartons measure approximately twelve by eight by nine inches. Because the A.W.E. Striker box and the H.I.S.S. Tank box are of identical measurements, the vehicle cartons look identical, except for the markings identifying which two vehicles each contain.

A full-sized MASS Device in Classified scale would be great use of the HasbLab "kickstarter." The 25th Anniversary MASS Device was undersized for the 1/18 figures and it was way too hard to collect all the pieces. Seeing as how the basic design work was done already in 2008, there are few (no?) moving parts, and that it could essentially be hollow, the manufacturing costs wouldn't be too high. Maybe throw in some lights and sounds and i would think they could make it at a reasonable price point.

Judging by the time allotted each IP at pulsecon it looks like Star Wars and Transformers are the number one IPs. Then Power Rangers. The rest of the IPs, like GiJoe were only given one block of time for presentations. I'm sure this is a consideration when choosing the next project for haslab. And if they picked GiJoe, as you guys have said, then based on sales momentum, Hasbro might go with the 6". Maybe a vehicle the size of the Black Series Snowspeeder? Perhaps a rattler or a tomahawk that'd fit several figures. Many people have said that vehicles sell, not the playsets so Hasbro might be hesitant to go with a Mass Device playset unless it was mounted on a giant tank/truck. Personally I'd love a 4" Wasp class type amphibious assault ship. Loaded with Warthogs and decked with helicopters and VTOL aircraft. Some guns and missiles. Smaller than the flag so reasonable but could be a part of the fleet

I would assume the same would be true of GI Joe. HasLab is aimed for hardcore collectors, so I would guess to keep costs reasonable, and to appeal to many older collectors, they would actually target a HasLab project to the 1:18 scale, even if Classified is knocking the pants off Retro in terms of sales and availability.

The Black Series gets a lot more resources and (presumably) sells a lot more than the Vintage collection, but all of the Star Wars HasLab projects have been scaled to 3.75".

TVC by design is made for the more focused collectors, so asking them to drop hundreds in one sitting on a HasLAb project is more reasonable and likely to be successful.

I’m enjoying the quick turnaround time on these G.I. Joe Retro vehicles with figures at Walmart, and was just thinking about that now as I looked at the Julian dates on the box date stamps.
The A.W.E. Striker vehicle with Crankcase was announced April 14th, manufactured on August 1st, and discovered in stores as early as September 14th (California). Similarly, the H.I.S.S. Tank with driver was also announced April 14th, and manufactured on July 8th. After enduring so many Kickstarters or the Collector’s Club pre-orders for the past several years, having a retail store option for buying G.I. Joe (if we can find it anywhere) is much preferred. Such a vehicle in 1:18 scale could appeal to vintage O-ring collectors, 25th or 50th Anniversary collectors, or G.I. Joe Retro collectors who are new to this product line. It doesn’t seem any more improbable to me than the HasLab Star Wars Razor Crest does, except that it might require more days to meet minimum funding goals.

Has anyone had any luck using brickseek to find these? That site seems like trash now.

Okay, those figure cartons look much smaller than I had imagined, and the breakdown makes me understand why the Baroness is so difficult for collectors to find.
