That's what I been saying. Hasbro is playing the game on focusing on selling the vehicles, making them the hot items (Collectors buying them because of the new features and or new included figures). At the end this will turn out in a Haslab project for GI Joe and an offering of a playset or big vehicle...

Agreed. I'm on the fence for what line though. Think I'm liking classified more right now but retro is obviously more feasable to do

It seems to me that Hasbro would want a carton to contain four, five, or six of these toys, instead of just two.

How does the case size compare to a case of figures?

With that in mind and with the popularity of the Classified Series I'd have to think a HasLab project would be for that line. Something big (or very detailed) that would be near impossible to produce for mainstream, mass consumer retail (like the Star Wars Sail Barge). Perhaps something like a Skystriker or Rattler? Lots of possibilities. But Hasbro had better choose wisely and NOT over-design it, whatever it is. |

I really wouldn't know, because I've yet to see a case of figures in a store, or even one single carded G.I. Joe Retro figure on the pegs, ever...
Visited a few different Walmart locations today, and still nothing when it comes to single carded figures. It seemed as unreal as a Sasquatch sighting, but I once saw a completely emptied G.I. Joe Retro display at a Walmart in Tennessee. A day or two later, it was gone. Maybe somebody else has seen those cases, and will be able to say if the box carton dimensions are similar or not.

Of course, I don't know much about that (or any other) aspect of the industry, so I'm really just spouting BS, but it seems reasonable.

Same. Part of me says screw it... give us the FLAGG again, even if it's $1,000+. But that's a pipe dream. Haha. For it to be at scale with the 4" figures it would almost have to be that... or something completely new, which would be quite risky.
